ProDentim vs ProvaDent vs DentaBiome: which dental chewable is worth it?
Three chewable tablets for teeth and gums, all sold through ClickBank, all at about the same price. One names its probiotic strains, one doesn't, and one uses postbiotics. Here's how they compare, and what the research can and can't tell you.
Quick answer
- Most transparent: ProDentim names its strains, including L. reuteri, the most studied for gums.
- ProvaDent: 4 probiotic strains not named on the sales page, plus xylitol and cranberry.
- DentaBiome: postbiotics (no live bacteria), with sales claims we think go too far.
- None replaces fluoride toothpaste, flossing and your dentist. Oral probiotic research shows modest, mixed results.

What the research supports
No clinical trial has tested any of these three products. The research is on the ingredients. A 2020 review of ten placebo-controlled trials of probiotics for gingivitis found the overall evidence weak, and for L. reuteri alone the improvement in gum and plaque scores was not statistically significant. Research on postbiotics for teeth and gums is even earlier. Our oral probiotics guide explains the studies and the habits that matter more.
Which one fits you
- ProDentim may fit if you want to know exactly which probiotic strains you're taking. Read our full ProDentim review.
- ProvaDent may fit if you'd rather try a single bottle first ($69) or like the idea of xylitol, accepting that the strains aren't named.
- DentaBiome may fit if you specifically want a product without live bacteria. Ignore the sales claims about wiping out bacteria or repairing cavities at home.
- Everyone: bleeding gums, loose teeth, pain or bad breath that won't go away need a dentist, not a chewable.

Frequently asked questions
Which is better, ProDentim or ProvaDent?
Neither has been tested in a clinical trial. ProDentim names its three probiotic strains, including L. reuteri, the most studied strain for gums. ProvaDent says it has 4 probiotic strains but didn't name them on its sales page when we checked. On transparency, ProDentim comes out ahead.
What is the difference between a probiotic and a postbiotic?
A probiotic contains live bacteria. A postbiotic contains bacteria that are no longer alive, or substances they produce. DentaBiome is sold as a postbiotic; ProDentim and ProvaDent are probiotics. Research on postbiotics for teeth and gums is still very early.
Which one is cheapest?
At our last check (October 22 for ProDentim, October 29 for the others) all three cost $294 for 6 bottles ($49 each). For a single month, ProvaDent sells 1 bottle for $69; ProDentim and DentaBiome start at 2 bottles for $158.
Can these chewables replace brushing or the dentist?
No. Brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between your teeth and regular dental visits matter far more than any supplement. Bleeding gums or loose teeth need a dentist.
Do they have a money-back guarantee?
Yes, all three offer 60 days, with orders processed by ClickBank. Buy only from the official pages and keep your ClickBank order number.
